A Glimpse Into Tough City Suds:
The Anderson Companies 2022 Charity Golf Tournament Proceeds Recipient
The Anderson Companies are humbled and honored to support Tammy Clark and her grassroots organizations, The Giving Tree and Tough City Suds!
In 2022, we were introduced to The Giving Tree by our Accounting Director, Trina Bellamy. Trina, being a graduate of James Monroe High School, has a special connection to our community and the Fredericksburg school in which The Giving Tree is located. Through her connection, we learned about the incredible work Tammy Clark has been doing in FXBG. During the school week, students can come to the facility and “shop” the donated necessities they need for free. From clothing and shoes to toiletries of all kinds, this organization provides students with the essentials they need to feel confident and prepared.
Tammy’s accomplishments made it incredibly easy for us to choose The Giving Tree as the recipient of The Anderson Companies 2022 Charity Golf Tournament’s full proceeds. We were excited to hear about the great plans she had to expand The Giving Tree with the help of the proceeds from our tournament. This expansion, now known as Tough City Suds, is a fully equipped laundry facility located within the high school. Local FXBG families can rent the laundry room for full privacy and comfort while they wash their clothing.
The Anderson Companies had the privilege to attend the Tough City Suds ribbon-cutting ceremony and we couldn’t be more proud of Tammy and everything she has done for Fredericksburg. We hope you enjoy this glimpse into the time we spent celebrating the fantastic Tough City Suds!
